What is Open and Distance Learning (ODL)?
Open and Distance Learning (ODL) refers to the provision of flexible learning opportunities, allowing access to education through various modes of knowledge acquisition.
Flexibility: Educational options are available anytime, anywhere, and in multiple formats.
Access: Opportunities are extended to all individuals, irrespective of time or location constraints through various Modes: A wide range of delivery systems and learning resources are utilized to facilitate learning.
The implementation of programs through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) represents a comprehensive approach adopted by public universities in Malaysia, leading to significant transformations in the country’s educational landscape.
